Company Events

Submission of a booking and its acceptance by Mimicks shall constitute a contract between the company and the booker and will not be deemed as confirmed until Mimicks has received your signed confirmation.

The invoice will be raised by Mimicks immediately after the event on a strict 14 day payment term. Additional percentage fees will be added for late payments.

For pay on the day arrangements, cheque's or cash must be placed in a sealed envelope and handed to the senior artiste. A receipt will be sent out in due course.

Mimicks are not held responsible in the event of non-fulfilment of the engagement by our artiste(s), however every reasonable safeguard is assured.

Cancellation of the the event, by you the booker, must be given in writing no fewer than 14 days prior to the event. Cancellations made between 14-21 days prior will be subject to a 25% administration charge, 1-13 days a 50% charge and on the day cancellations will be liable for payment in full due to loss of booking.

The artiste(s) will arrive approximately 15-20 minutes prior to their start time. Should you require them in place prior to their start time then this will be reflected in the price.

Parking fees to attend your event will be reflected in your price. Please inform us at the time of booking should this be the case.

Mimicks artiste(s) arrive fully equipped with products and equipment, however the provision of an outside shelter is required by you, should your event be outside to protect against the elements. They are able to bring along a pop-up gazebo at an additional cost.

Each artiste will take a 10 minute break for every 90 minutes worked - after an initial two-hours.

The artiste(s) will not work on anyone with a skin disease or disorder, or anyone who is threatening to their safety or anyone who is under the influence of alcohol and will have a disclaimer clearly displayed relating to the effect.

If additional time than previously booked is needed to continue with their work it will be left to the discretion of the senior artiste as to whether they can work on or not, depending on other commitments. An additional fee will be charged should they go over the booking time and a signature required for the purpose.

After packing away their products and equipment they will be unable to re-set up again should late-comers arrive to your event. Please do not ask the artiste(s) to do so as we would wish not to offend.

Unless otherwise requested all guests worked on will be given a Mimicks sticker bearing their contact information for future booking requests, unless the booking has been made through a third-party agency.

Mimicks maintain a high standard of work with quality staff, professional products and follow a strict code of practice. They will arrive at your venue ready to perform, fully equipped and insured with £5million public liability and £10million employers liability, and all artistes have a basic CRB disclosure.
